I really enjoyed this article.

Put more energy into the things you can change and be willing to walk away from the things you cannot.

This saying hit's the nail on the head, because we try so hard to change things we can't an
contiue to remain in the same old energy draining state.

"...stop empowering the parts of your life which only suck the power from you and give nothing back in return. Keep some of the power for yourself..."

I know this is true for me. Keeping some of the power for myself also takes the form of refusing to give. Often my urge to give is really a cry for help for myself.

Nice post, I think it's very liberating to let go of one's attachments. It's just so easy to fall back into habitual ways of doing things - often you don't even notice it happen.

@ Adam & Miguel: Thanks for highlighting your favorite sentences from the post. There's a theme here: To grow, we must first step step outside of our comfort zones.

I have my quotation too:

"Success is usually the result of doing some uncomfortable things at times"

Well done, it's hard to pack so much common sense in a post.
