“Never give up. The day you quit is the day before the goal or task is accomplished.”

The above is a big one. I believe that it’s common for people to give up just before the change was about to take place. Perhaps because it’s *easiest* to give up just before you’ve made it!

Alex, I too am still trying to find the purpose for my life. I do know that I believe we are the only ones who can control our happiness. We can choose to be overcome by our circumstances or we can rise above them and do our best to keep going and smile in spite of what is going on around us. I believe in the power of simple acts of kindness. It’s amazing how one small act can brighten another’s face.
