I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love. – Mother Teresa
Our words won’t change the world. The world has heard it all before. Our tithes won’t change the world. The world needs more than money. Our best intentions won’t change the world. The world needs us to take action.
There isn’t 1000 ways, 100 ways or 10 ways to change the world. There is only one way to change the world. The world will be changed by love – only love.
Undeniable love
When we begin to love each other by reaching out to those who are homeless, hungry and cold, then we can change the world.
When we begin to love each other by reaching out to those who are poorly educated, disadvantaged and oppressed, then we can change the world.
When we begin to love each other by reaching out to those who have different colored skin, sexual orientations and religions, then we can change the world.
When the world sees this kind of love, this undeniable love, it will stop, breathe a little easier and then begin to change.
It’s not too late to offer our undeniable love.
The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit. – Nelson Henderson
When our hearts become filled with this undeniable love, we will change, too.
Until then, let’s keep using our words; let’s keep tithing and let’s keep striving to do our best. Maybe this is the way to keep filling our hearts with undeniable love.
After all, if our words touch one person’s heart, then our words matter. If our tithes help one person live better, then our tithes matter. And if our best intentions lead to positive action, then our intentions matter.
But if we do these things, and don’t love, then there’s no way to change the world.
Love is the only way to change the world.
