My Book is Here! Saying Yes to Change

By on Apr 08, 2012

Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith. – Margaret Shepherd

It’s here. My first book, Saying Yes to Change: 10 Timeless Life Lessons for Creating Positive Change, is here. Along with the excitement of approving the final draft, selecting the cover and planning the book’s promotion, I’m also eager to leave my self-doubts behind and take a leap of faith with its release.

And, I feel like celebrating. Will you join me?

Here goes

Over the past four years, I have faithfully shared my life, and heart, on this blog. Writing is like medicine – it heals the deep, wounded places in me. Writing has also opened my eyes to what I need to change in my life.

One thing I’m still learning to change is my reluctance to step outside of my comfort zone. The thought of venturing into the unknown is frightening. Old tapes tell me it’s not safe there, or I can’t have what my heart desires; but to grow, I realize that I can’t always stay where it’s comfortable.

Releasing Saying Yes to Change is one of those outside of my comfort zone terrifying moments. But to reach more people, I’m facing my demons; and I’m staring my fragile self-confidence right in the eye, and trying not to blink.

So, here goes. A leap begins…

Congratulations on getting your book out there. I’m just about to launch my own titled: ‘How To Change Your Life One Day At A Time’. It’s an exciting time and I really feel that a shift is happening with people everywhere. Here’s a little video I made recently – some of the answers people to give to this ONE question are very revealing, moving and incredibly open:  Take care and good luck. Stu 🙂

    • Thanks for your encouragement Stuart. Best of luck with your book and please let me know if I can do anything to help!

Hi Alex, I’m always up for cross pollination. 🙂 I’m afraid being a bit of a beginner at this blogging I can’t compete with your following though. 🙂
