God taught us how to love through the gift of His Son. True Love Gives, Endures and Comes from the Heart.

Lists of "things to do to show your loved one that they are important" just turn into lists of "things I wish my loved one did for me, but he doesn't" and these become requirements and failure to meet requirements becomes blame. I definitely do not like that part of the article. Some other parts are pretty good, but all in all, anyone who is interested in doing these things, probably already is doing these or quite similar things.

You want a conscientious compassionate and loving partner, make sure you pick a conscientious compassionate and loving person, AND, perhaps more importantly, make sure that you ARE yourself that as well. Otherwise, buy a leather jacket, tattoo a gigantic red, white and blue American eagle on your back, buy a gun and a motorcycle and go find yourself some SWEET sadomasochism.

Some people are just plain screwed up and they ALWAYS will be.
