Thanks for your relatable and uplifting blog.I think fear is the opposite of faith,if we can let go of our fear, our faith can be restored.

I believe in the promises of God. My loss of faith if ever is really due to fear-fear that I don't deserve what I am trying to accomplish or want.

I will add you on my prayer list, your write up is awe inspiring!! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this. As of late I seemed to have 'lost' my faith. I could feel my faith strengthening as I read the post, and I am sure that by remembering the above mentioned, my faith will strengthen over time

Alex,
I like the thought that "faith is a gift of grace." There are many "gifts" available to us such as faith, salvation, love... that we have the opportunity to choose whether we want to receive them or not. The surrender part of it is important as you said, but oh, so difficult at times. Thanks for your perspective on faith. It helps me understand my personal faith.
Thoughts and prayers are with you, Mary Beth, and your family.

Nice job Alex. Getting involved is one of those rewarding and fulfilling acts that some people tend to do as an after thought. To me, its one of the best ways to build your faith.
