This article affirms me now in the path I have chosen for freedom. I have just resigned from work, from the walls of blame and resentment that have enclosed me for quite some time. It's never easy, but it is empowering to be able to take responsibility for one's life and happiness. Once you break free of your fears, you will find out you had nothing to be afraid of in the first place :)

@ Cindy: Thanks for sharing. If I may suggest, maybe now is the time to focus on your walls, and not your former husband's. In other words, put some focus on you - you deserve it.

Super view points ,Wish I could of gotten this thru to my x Husband.I tryed so hard for 17 years to make him see all the things you have talked of. Still he hides behind Lies like a coward. Seeking comfort and pity from people who try to help him with good advice, based on false information. He blames All but him self for failing. I can not understand how a person could desire PITY and feeling sorry for them selfs. Over the Courage to tell the truth and live an honest life with pride. I believe he is toxic to success and happiness. He sucks it out of people who feel sorry for him. I'm so glad I finely escaped, but feel kind of sad that he forsed me to leave him behind. His pity pit was to deep for me to drag him out of. His mother is keeping him Company in her denile. Now I am Happy,Happy Happy. Thanks for the post. Cindy
