Im about to move for like the 20th time now, Ive already rearranged my rooms and or furniture and feel like im going to explode if I dont drop everything and go somewhere else. Now its hard to find a job that will move me around every few months. Im just starting to get worried that when I finally realize that moving isnt going to help, that Ill eventually give up and settle with whatever mondane existance im in at the moment.

I thought that feeling bored was just a feeling. I didn't realize that there was that underlying craving for change until I read your post. I guess I'm a change junkie... But I'm happy to know that I'm not alone. Thanks for sharing this.

@Bengt
It's so much easier to work on the little bits and dance around the big stuff, isn't it? Authors suffer from this all the time writing around the big events instead of tackling the action head on. Good luck!

@Nathalie
I've heard a lot about Barbara Sher's book - you're right - some people are simply programmed for change and a book like Sher's will help them manage that need for change without losing focus.

@Jeanelle
Glad I could help bring the issue into focus for you!

@Lorraine
Yes, when I think of the "work" it'll take to achieve my dreams I get discouraged, but when I think about the investment I'm making in my future I feel energized. Good way of expressing it!

@Amber
I'm always fascinated how our needs change - sometimes we need to push through a transformation, other times the need is to push through remaining constant. I too am excited for Colin and his discovery of an equilibrium.
